Filter pads clean out the air being circulated for maximum efficiency and add water to the air of your Evaporative Air Conditioner unit to cool it. When filter pads become worn out your Evaporator unit will need to work harder to cool the air or won’t work at all.
These Chillcel pads have been engineered and manufactured to the highest standard to maximise the performance of your cooling system and use the breakthrough Mini-Cell ChillCel Pad Technology.
- Revolutonary Mini-cell structure boasts up to 21% more cooling capacity than before.
- 25% more surface area and a new 4mm flute to dramatically improve cooling efficiency.
- Manufactured at Seeley International Lonsdale-based factory in Adelaide, Australia.
Installation and Maintenance Tips
New Chillcel pads may have an unpleasant odour when first installed. To reduce this odour and prevent it from entering the air-conditioned rooms, it is recommended to flush clean water through the pads for 5 mins by filling the tank, running the water pump and then fully draining the tank prior to use. Use the 'Pad Flush' option where available, or run in cooling mode on lowest fan speed to do this. New pads may also take several hours to fully wet out when first used.
To maximise the life of your new Chillcel pads ensure your cooler salinity management or bleed system is functioning correctly to prevent excessive salt build-up in the pads.
It is also recommended to gently rinse your Chillcel pads with water annually to clean the pads and remove any dust build-up.
