Introducing the SMARTEMP PMW-AD
The SMARTEMP PMW-AD perforated multi-stream wall diffuser is designed to deliver superior indoor comfort in demanding environments. With a side-entry configuration and a perforated front face, it discharges a multitude of high‐momentum free‐air streams that intensely mix supply air with ambient room air. This high‐induction air‐stream process ensures rapid discharge velocity decay and uniformly distributed temperatures, reducing draught risk and improving occupant comfort.
Key features
- Highly inductive multi‐stream discharge for true draught‐free comfort.
- Individually adjustable air‐jet elements accessible via an Allen key through the diffuser face. This tamper-resistant adjustment ensures long-term performance and prevents inadvertent changes (for example by cleaning staff).
- A perforated metal front face (60° stagger pattern) in an extruded aluminium frame, painted in your choice of colour to match interior décor.
- Flexible size options: standard widths of 612 mm, 950 mm and 1490 mm, heights from 134 mm to 251 mm; bespoke widths from 207 mm up to 1490 mm available.
- Wide performance envelope: airflow rates from 30–500 L/s (108–1,800 m³/h), throw distances from approximately 1.3 m to 17 m, and suitable for install heights of 2.5–4 m.
- Suitable for CAV systems with turndown to around 50% and for low‐temperature supply applications (supply air temperature ≥ 10 °C and ΔT (supply-room) ≥ -15 K). Typical ADPI (air diffusion performance index) values are in excess of 90 %.
